PYO Berries

Important update about our 2019 berry season 6/7/19

We will not be offering pick your own strawberries or raspberries in 2019. We understand this is more disappointing news for many of our annual visitors; we are equally disappointed that we will not be able to offer you this experience at our farm. Here is a break down about what's going on with our berries:

Strawberries-Strawberries will be available for sale at our farmstand on CB and at the Appleton Farmer's Market.  We anticipate the season beginning in late June this year.  We will not have the yields to support both pick-your-own and to supply our stand therefore we are focused on retail strawberry sales this seaosn.

Raspberries-Due to two years of significant winter injury and an aging raspberry planting, the productivity of our raspberry crop never really hit its stride in 2018. In 2019, it is time to retire the raspberry patch for good.  We have seen evidence of root disease throughout the patch for several years and the decline of the patch was accelerated by winter injury.

Blackberries- Watching and waiting to see how the crop develops!
